By Riz

Six teams competed in a The Elsie Boyce Memorial T20 Tournament 2012, which took place over a two day period on 26th & 27th May 2012, in Scarborough Ontario. Besides Cavaliers CC, The Caribbean Cricket Club of Toledo Ohio, Somerset Sports Club of NY, Markham CC, Pickering CC and Malvern CC participated in the event.

Cavaliers CC went undefeated and won the Elsie Boyce Memorial Tournament by posting massive 252 runs in the final, with Don Maxwell making 115 n/o in 20 overs. The team took home five trophies including the Championship Trophy.

  • A Message from President, Curtis Springer

    Congratulations.

I would like to thank all those who made last weekend a success. By entering this competition for the first time and winning it means a lot to Cavaliers Cricket Club. Without the combine effort of the whole team, especially the awesome display of batting by Don Maxwell in the final. This result could not been possible. Good way to start the season Mr. Thaker.

    Regards.

1972-2012 - 40th Anniversary - Cavaliers Cricket Club

Hi all members and supporters,

I would like to say “thank you” to all who have supported the Cavaliers Cricket Club in the past.  I would be grateful to see that support in the future.

As some of you may already know, the Cavaliers Cricket Club of Windsor was founded by Mr. Barry Stevens in 1972. Therefore, 2012 marks the Cavalier’s 40th anniversary.  We are looking forward to a fun-filled year of activities including a dinner dance and a 20/20 tournament.  Date to be announced shortly.  Updates will be posted on our website.

A Message from President

By Riz

I want to thank everyone who took part in our annual Cavaliers vs Coconut Tree game. A special congratulations goes out to Harold Greene for winning the Man of the Match award from the Cavaliers side. Another thank you goes out to all executive members who took time out of this holiday weekend to help with collecting donations and frying fish cakes for a good cause—-Horn of Africa Appeal.

Hopefully we can take this winning mood into this weekend’s semi-final playoff game against Windsor Cricket Club.
